Code like a Champion with Scientists from ORNL

Hour of Code - December 9-13, 2024

Team UT-Battelle and Oak Ridge National Lab are partnering together with national labs across the country to support the Hour of Code. Team UT-Battelle will send volunteer scientists to classrooms across the region to support local teachers in this exciting event. Volunteers will give a brief introduction to the class about their work at ORNL and then assist the teacher as students complete an Hour of Code activity. This year, we are excited to offer both in-person and virtual classroom visits.

Since 2017, ORNL volunteers have proudly helped introduce students to coding during Hour of Code.
